Both companies have a total of 30,221 BTC valued at around USD 1,930 million.
At Tesla and SpaceX, BTC exposure equals less than 0.05% of their market capitalization.
As of yesterday, June 12, 2026, two of the ten most valuable publicly traded companies in the world hold bitcoin (BTC) on their corporate balance sheets. Tesla and SpaceX jointly hold 30,221 BTC, valued at approximately $1.93 billion at prices close to $64,000 per coin.
The event occurred with SpaceX’s stock market debut yesterday. The company closed its first day of trading with a valuation close to 2.1 trillion dollarsenough to rank among the largest public companies in the world.

Months before, in May, SpaceX had revealed through its S-1 form before the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that maintains 18,712 BTC in its corporate reserves, as reported by CriptoNoticias.
According to the documentation presented by the company, these bitcoins were acquired since the end of 2024 at an average price close to $35,000 per unit.
Tesla, for its part, has kept 11,509 BTC since 2025, after making an initial purchase in 2021 and selling part of its position in 2022.
Likewise, according to data from BitcoinTreasuriesSpaceX ranks eighth among public companies with the most bitcoin in treasury, while Tesla is ranked 12th.

It is worth noting that of the ten largest public companies in the world—led by NVIDIA and Alphabet—, only Tesla and SpaceX report direct exposure to bitcoin. The rest of the large technology companies do not register declared holdings of the asset.
For its part, Strategy is the company with the largest corporate bitcoin reserve in the world, with more than 840,000 BTC on its balance sheet. However, unlike Tesla and SpaceX, the company It is not part of the group of the ten most valuable public companies by market capitalization.
Despite these holdings, it is worth noting that bitcoin continues to occupy a secondary place in the finances of Tesla and SpaceX. The positions represent less than 0.05% of their respective stock valuationswhich contrasts with its weight within companies like Strategy, whose corporate strategy is closely linked to the digital asset.
The presence of bitcoin in two of the ten largest public companies in the world shows that the asset created by Satoshi Nakamoto has managed to make its way into some of the largest corporations on the planet. However, its adoption within this group remains limited and is, for now, concentrated on relatively small allocations within highly diversified treasuries.
