Trump’s warning, Iran will face a ‘hard blow’
US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran will be dealt a “hard blow” on Monday and Tuesday if conflict between the two countries escalates.
Speaking to radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump said that the United States would continue attacks against Iran, adding that “there’s nothing they can do about it.”
Trump also commented on Pickaxe Mountain, a deeply buried underground site near Iran’s Natanz uranium enrichment facility. He said the location was being closely monitored and described it as a “potential target for a big fat shot”.
“We have a lot of eyes on it,” Trump said. “We don’t see any activity there, they’re not doing well with their nuclear posture. Every time we hear about it, we blow it up.”
The US president said Washington would “give the pickaxe a chance relatively soon” and described Iran’s leadership as “extremely unreliable”, adding: “These people are crazy.”
