Dr Congo adapts burials amid Ebola outbreak


In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the issue of burials is central to the management of the new Ebola outbreak affecting the country. Since bodies remain contagious even after death, burials must be carried out by specialized teams to limit the risk of infection. But securing public acceptance for these measures is a challenge as misinformation and mistrust of officials is rife in some communities.
