A large number of police forces were deployed due to an active shooting incident in Toronto, Canada on Saturday night.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene and six people were found with gunshot wounds, officials said. It was not immediately clear whether the six injured people were among the dead.
The incident occurred near St. Clair Avenue West and Arlington Avenue during the Salsa on St. Clair Festival – Canada’s largest Latin street festival.
Police did not provide any information about the suspect.
