Andy Burnham is now the UK’s seventh prime minister in ten years. He has promised to present a ten-year program offering a new political and economic model for the country, away from the neoliberal policies adopted in the 1980s. Challenges include tackling high costs of living, and the rising popularity of the far right. He has also nominated his government.
