Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement, two Israeli soldiers were killed and several others were injured in a shooting in Tayasir Checkpoint.
The IDF said that its soldiers killed a gunman, who set fire to a military post next to Tayisir Checkpoint.
Eight soldiers were injured in the attack on the list, two of them seriously, says Israeli media.
The terrorist group Hamas and small Islamic Jihad terrorist group praised the attack, but neither claimed responsibility for it.
West bank violence increased since Gaza ceasefire
Israel has performed a comprehensive operation in a nearby Genin at a nearby Genin at the West Bank occupied in the last week, stating that the city has militant activity.

“The camp is going in a terrible direction,” UNRWA spokesman Juliet Tauma told reporters in Geneva, a large part of the camp was “completely destroyed in a range of blasts by Israeli forces”.
