Agriculture Secretary Brook Rollins said that the Agriculture Department (USDA) will invest $ 1 billion to strengthen bio -safety measures on the farms. This amount will be in addition to $ 2 billion already spent to deal with bird flu.

Why the price of eggs bounces?

The administration is also considering importing 7 to 10 crore eggs from other countries to increase the supply of eggs in the market. However, experts believe that these imports are unlikely to have a significant impact on prices.

While vaccines are seen as a long -term solution, the current prototypes are impractical and can affect exports from vaccinated birds.
