Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said that the families of the people of Maharashtra who lost their lives in Pahalgam will get 50 lakh rupees. Along with this, a government job will also be given to a person of every victim’s family.

Maharashtra government will give compensation of 50 lakhs

The Maharashtra government on Tuesday approved compensation of Rs 50 lakh to the family of every victim killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. Soon after this attack, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced an interim assistance of Rs 5 lakh. 6 tourists from Maharashtra died in this attack. The dead include Santosh Jagdale of Pune and Kaustubh Ganavate, Hemant Joshi of Dombivali, Sanjay Lele and Atul Mone, and Dilip Disle of Panvel.

Also announced to give job

Chief Minister Fadnavis said that the government will also help these families through education and employment. He had already promised to give a government job to Santosh Jagdale’s daughter Asavari Jagdale. Now he has also given formal approval to this job using special rights in the cabinet meeting. Apart from this, the Maharashtra government has also arranged special flights to evacuate about 800 tourists trapped in Jammu and Kashmir.

Let us know that on 22 April, 26 people were killed by firing by terrorists at the famous tourist destination Basaron Maidan in Kashmir. It is considered to be the biggest terrorist attack in Kashmir after the 2019 Pulwama attack.
