Puma presents new CFO – schuhkurier

Markus Neumann will join Puma’s management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on October 1, 2024. He was most recently CFO at Guess and before that CFO at the luxury fashion brand MCM and CEO and CFO of the Americas region at Hugo Boss. Guess announced Markus Neumann’s departure back in August.

At Puma, he will be responsible for Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, IT and Business Solutions. “We are delighted to welcome Markus to Puma. He is a highly competent financial manager with extensive experience in operational and financial planning as well as capital markets. With his extensive industry knowledge and his people-first leadership style, he fits perfectly into our Puma family. I am looking forward to working with him and writing the next chapter of our sustainable growth based on increased brand desirability,” said Puma CEO Arne Freundt.

Puma has mutually agreed with current CFO Hubert Hinterseer that he will step down as CFO on September 30, 2024. He will stay with Puma until December 31 to ensure a smooth transition. Freundt said of his departure: “I would like to thank Hubert for his performance at Puma. With his strong commitment and dedication to the brand and the Puma family, he has contributed to our success over the past 20 years. I wish him all the best for his professional and personal future.”

From October 1, 2024, the Puma Board of Management will consist of Arne Freundt, CEO, Markus Neubrand CFO, Anne-Laure Descours, Chief Sourcing Officer and Maria Valdes, Chief Product Officer.
