Retirement is not for everyone, knows Bernd Herkenrath, who decided against relaxing after working for many years in the marketing sector. Due to his passion for high-quality footwear and the appreciation that his mother instilled in him at a young age, he had long wanted to spend his retirement with a new project. After selling shoes from Alden, Trickers and Allen Edmons “in no time” at a flea market in Baden-Baden, the next idea was born: a second-hand shop for first-class shoes. Classic Shoes Staufen has been refurbishing high-quality shoes for almost 10 years now and offers them for sale in an extensive catalog, but repairs and orthopedic shoe supplies are now also carried out here. For this reason, Herkenrath has brought reinforcements on board.
