After investing in the Our Legacy brand, this is LLV’s second investment in Scandinavia. According to a company statement, it represents a milestone for Db, as the brand will benefit from the expertise from the luxury industry.
Truls Brataas and freeskier Jon Olsson founded Db in 2012. The plan is to increase brand awareness through strategic partnerships, double its core markets in Northern Europe and accelerate growth in the USA and Asia.
“Receiving support from LLV is a huge milestone for us,” says CEO Richard Collier. “While Db will remain true to its core communities in snow, surf and skate, LLV’s global perspective, credibility and strategic knowledge fit perfectly with our vision of what the brand can become.”

Db offers a minimalistic designed range of bags, backpacks, luggage, duffels, totes and accessories. In 2026, the brand plans to introduce an aluminum luggage line and golf travel equipment.
