As the harsh winter season approaches in Ukraine, UNICEF and other aid organizations are helping communities in the Kharkiv region of eastern Ukraine prepare for the cold weather. Due to the war many local people have lost their jobs and reliable income sources and are unable to afford heating. These include the Malachi family, whose two children are disabled.
