IMD says that there is a possibility of fog or light fog in most areas of the capital on Wednesday and moderate fog at some places. According to the Meteorological Department, the wind speed in Delhi is expected to increase to 14 to 18 kilometers per hour on Wednesday afternoon. By evening it will gradually reduce to less than 8 kilometers per hour. Today the maximum temperature is expected to be 17 and the minimum temperature will be 8 degree Celsius.

Cold wave outbreak in Kashmir, mercury dropped to minus 11 degrees

Cold has become a problem for the people in Kashmir valley. The minimum temperature in Gulmarg, a tourist spot famous for ‘skiing’ in Kashmir, was recorded at minus 11.5 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted light snowfall on the first day of the new year and moderate snowfall later.
