The interim president of Syrian, Ahmed al-Shara, landed in Saudi Arabia for his first international visit on Sunday, as his rebellious terrorist group dropped former President Bashar al-Assad in December.
Al-Shara’s visit to Riyadh is widely seen as a sign of its government’s interest, which align itself more closely with the Gulf and away from Iran.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia was one of the Arab countries that put money in rebel groups trying to avoid Bashar Assad during the Syrian civil war.

What do we know about the journey?
Al-Shara, which was once formed with the Islamist terrorist group Al-Qaeda, landed in Riyadh with the Foreign Minister of his government, Asad al-Shabani.
Both people traveled on a Saudi jet, in which the Saudi flag was visible on the table behind them.

Al-Shara is scheduled to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to Saudi media outlets, both are expected to discuss supports to lift international sanctions on Syria.
Syrian political transition after Assad Oser
Al-Shara was the main terrorist group-Hayat Tahrir al-Sham or HTS leader, which affected the power of lightning to Bashar Assad in December.
