‘US imperialism’: Anger in Philippines as war with Iran sends oil prices soaring


As Washington continues to struggle to reach an agreement with Iran that would permanently open the Strait of Hormuz, the impact of its closure is still being felt around the world, not least in the Philippines, where rising oil prices have pushed many to breaking point and anger, mostly directed to the US, has spilled into the streets.
