Ebola epidemic: Ten African countries at risk

Africa CDC has issued a fresh warning this Saturday, saying up to ten additional African countries are now at risk as the Ebola outbreak spreads across the region. Those countries are Angola, Burundi, the Central African Republic, the Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia. Uganda has confirmed three new cases, while the Red Cross says three volunteers have died in eastern DR Congo after contracting the virus in March. In Ituri’s Mongbwalu, residents attacked and burned part of an Ebola treatment center, forcing 18 suspected cases to flee, while another center in Rwampara was also set on fire.
