A fire broke out in central Kyiv after an explosion during an air raid alert on Wednesday, an AFP reporter said. The journalist saw smoke and flames rising as firefighters and ambulances rushed to the scene. Kyiv has faced frequent Russian air strikes more than four years into Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.
